This Thursday we’ve got two of Britain’s finest sports car drivers coming in for a podcast: Andy Wallace and James Weaver.
Wallace won Le Mans on his first attempt with Jaguar in 1988 and followed it up with Daytona victories in ’90, ’97 and ’99 and a brace of Sebring wins in ’92 and ’93 in Dan Gurney’s Eagle-Toyotas.
Weaver was also in the car at Daytona ’97 and his résumé also boasts the ’96 BPR Global GT Series title and back-to-back Grand-Am championships in 2000 and ’01.
If all that wasn’t enough, the pair are long-time friends and two of the most engaging racers around. Those of you who read Simon Taylor’s ‘Lunch with’ in the November 2011 issue of Motor Sport will know exactly how much fun this podcast promises to be.
