Home  >  WOT  >  Dodge Challenger, Charger Scat Pack Pricing and Numbers Revealed Pricing and performance gains for the Scat Pack offered on the Dodge Challenger and Charger with the 5.7-liter Hemi V-8 announced at the 2013 SEMA show have been revealed. Three Scat Pack stage kits are offered priced from $1895 to $4995. The kits can boost power an additional 18-58 hp and 18-47 lb-ft of torque total, according to the automaker. Priced at $2195, the Scat Pack Stage 1 kit includes a Mopar cold-air intake, Mopar cat-back exhaust and a recalibrated engine computer. Dodge claims the three parts are good for 18 hp and 18 lb-ft of torque. Also included in the Stage 1 kit is a Mopar low restriction oil filter and two “Scat Pack 1” badges. Building on the Stage 1 kit, the $1895 Scat Pack Stage 2 kit adds a Mopar performance camshaft kit (camshaft, tiebars, heavy-duty pushrods, and gaskets) and a Stage 2 computer calibration. The Stage 2 kit increases power “up to 30 hp.” A pair of “Scat Pack 2” badges are also included. For $4995, the Scat Pack Stage 3 kit includes Mopar performance CNC porter cylinder heads, Mopar high-flow headers and catalysts, a Stage 3 computer, and of course two “Scat Pack 3” badges. With all three stages, a Dodge Challenger or Charger can make 58 hp and 47 lb-ft over a stock 5.7-liter Hemi V-8, or 433 hp and 457 lb-ft with the mods. In total, all three kits run $9085 for 58 hp and 47 lb-ft of torque. The automaker claims the Scat Pack kits’ power increases are “unmatched by any OEM without the use of a forced-induction system.” And the Scat Pack kits are covered under the factory warranty if installed by an authorized dealer. The Scat Pack kits will be available this Spring. Our only question is whether the Scat Pack kits will be available on the Chrysler 300 with the 5.7-liter Hemi V-8. Source: Dodge
