Home > WOT > GM Recalls 824,000 More Models Over Ignition Switch Concerns General Motors has again expanded its ignition recall, this time opening it up to all model years (2008-2011) of the Chevrolet Cobalt and HHR; Pontiac G5 and Solstice; and Saturn Ion and Sky sold in the U.S. The new recall covers an additional 824,000 vehicles on top of the original 619,212 vehicles from the initial recall as well as the 747,934 models from the first recall expansion. In total, more than 2.19 million GM vehicles have been recalled over faulty ignition switches.
