If this 1970 Buick Estate Wagon for sale on Hemmings.com causes double-takes, it might be for the lack of vinyl woodgrain along its expansive flanks, or it could simply be the recent repaint in that sun-catching bronze. Less visible, but still as impressive, are the two-way tailgate to go along with the third-row seating and the massive 455 to haul the wagon’s Boy Scout troop capacity. From the seller’s description:

this car is loaded with power and style. A mammoth 455 under the hood provides outstanding power and effortless cruising. Features automatic transmission on the column, anti-theft steering column lock, disc brakes, automatic brake adjusters, power windows, power steering, power seats. Air conditioner (may need some freon). Tilt steering column and cruise control. Two-way tailgate feature. Original AM-FM radio (not working) and Buick factory “Stereo Tape Player” 8-track player.
