Home  >  WOT  >  Recall: 2003-2004 Toyota Avalon for Airbag Issue Toyota is recalling at least 119,000 model year 2003 and 2004 Avalon sedans for a possible issue with the airbag and/or the seat belt pretensioner system inadvertently deploying. The Fix: Toyota will install a noise filter between the air bag control module and wire harness free of charge. The automaker has yet to notify owners, but can be reached at 800-331-4331 for more information. Number of Vehicles Potentially Affected: The recall affects at least 119,140 model year 2003 and 2004 Avalon sedans manufactured from June 5, 2002 to December 20, 2004. Source: NHTSA
