* For some reason, anniversary news was rampant this past week, so let’s round up some of the more interesting of the jubilations. To begin with, Monday marked the 75th anniversary of the introduction of the first Crosleys at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The Crosley Automobile Club included a couple photos from that day in their Crosley of the Month section.
* Tuesday marked a decade since the last Oldsmobile – a red Alero – rolled off the assembly lines. The Detroit Bureau has a rundown on the anniversary and what it meant for GM.
* Next up, Citroen’s celebrating the 80th anniversary of the Traction Avant, the pioneering front-wheel-drive car. Ronan Glon at Ran When Parked has more on the Traction Avant’s history.
* While the 25th anniversary of the NSX actually took place earlier in the year, Blake Z. Rong over at Autoweek put together an excellent tale of the NSX’s introduction, one that involves both crashing press conferences and crashing into deer.

* Finally, this year marks 110 years since Charles Stewart Rolls and Henry Royce met and decided to combine their talents.
