While the Denver Public Library doesn’t say on its digital collections page exactly where in Golden, Colorado, mining company AMAX’s apparently recently built offices were in this September 1980 photo, we think they’re in the same office park as the address for the company’s current headquarters, and specifically, we believe the photo was taken from the corner of West Colfax Avenue and Colorado Mills Parkway. Fortunately, the trees weren’t as mature then as they are now, so we can visually cruise the parking lot. What do you see here?
