Speaking of the 1954 New York World’s Fair, over on Viewliner LTD we came across this postcard from 1964 with a photo taken outside Shea Stadium, which opened just adjacent to the world’s fair site in Flushing Meadows on the same day that Ford introduced the Mustang (naturally, the Mets lost). The picture’s fuzzy, as most of these postcard photos are, but there’s still enough detail to identify some of the cars. What do you see here?
